Who we are & what we do
The Parish Council consists of 11 elected councillors who serve for a four year term. All Councillors are voluntary and receive no payment other than the Chairman and Vice Chairman who receive a small allowance.
The Clerk's Office is located at the Parish Room, High Street, Woodville , Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 7EA.
Council Meetings are normally held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, except August at the Methodist Church Rooms, High Street, Woodville, Swadlincote, Derbyshire, DE11 7EA. Please see the diary of meetings for more information.
Woodville Parish Council maintains green spaces and play areas in Woodville including the Recreation Grounds off New Road and Occupation Lane, Woodville.
It owns and maintains the Cricket Ground, Burton Road, the Memorial Gardens and Allotments off Millfield Street.
